Mr Galloway comes to Swansea

Respect MP George Galloway spoke to a packed meeting of Swansea universitystudents and workers from the city at an afternoon meeting yesterday.He spoke without notes for forty minutes about the war in Iraq,about Blair and New Labour and about US imperialism and Palestine.He was warmly received by the audience many of whom joined Respect after the meeting.The university already had a thriving branch of the anti war party but its membership has shot up following the meeting.Respect members are already discussing the "climate change" demonstration in London in December and how the march can be built in South Wales. Galloway later spoke to 350 students and workers in Aberystwyth with many there also joining Respect.
