Dear Everyone,

Incredibly the media are making little of it, but whilst Blair was
swanning around in New York with his mate Bill Clinton he stated:

"No country is going to cut its growth or consumption substantially in
the light of a long term environmental problem. Some people have signed
Kyoto, some people haven't signed Kyoto, right. That's a disagreement.
It's there. It's not going to be be resolved."

Thanks to the weak and puny media, he hasn't been asked to publicly
clarify what he means. Does that mean you might as well take the UK's
support for Kyoto and throw it away? Does that mean that recent storms
in southern USA had no impact on the thinking of Bush & Blair?
Unfortunately it appears the answer is yes in each case.

Rather than sit back and accept this somewhat dangerous approach, as
part of the Campaign against Climate Change we are asking people to get
involved in three mobilisations in the coming weeks:
