UK set to enforce military rule in Basra

brian | 28.09.2005 13:00

which is illegal as Iraq is supposed to be a sovereign state...remember?

'But a tranquil spring in southern Iraq has given way to a midsummer of violence that reached an alarming climax when a mob set British troops ablaze and a rogue police unit with suspected insurgent ties abducted two undercover soldiers.'

 http://telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/09/28/wirq28.xml&sSheet=/news/2005/09/28/ixnewstop.html

the 'mob' were people of Basra, and the police were doing their legal business.

But as we know Iraq is an occupie country masquerading as a democracy:

'The official explanation is that the army is now instructed to treat the local police force as part of the insurgency, because it is so infiltrated by militia groups. This was also the army’s attitude when it mounted a rescue operation of the two officers from the local police facility. Some 10 armoured personnel vehicles and a helicopter were used to storm the building and attack around a thousand demonstrators, incensed by the discovery of the SAS’s activities. The British Army used live fire and baton rounds in its assault, killing several people and injuring many more.

In the immediate aftermath of September 19, British control of Basra is facing mounting popular opposition. There are widespread reports of demonstrations against the British. Local authorities have withdrawn cooperation with the occupation forces and the city’s anti-terrorist judge has issued an arrest warrant for the two SAS officers.

Britain has rejected the legality of the arrest warrant and refused a compensation demand for the victims of the assault on the police facility. Instead, Defence Minister John Reid has said he intends to scrap the 25,000-strong police force in southern Iraq and “replace it with a new military-style unit capable of maintaining law and order.”

that last statement refers to the imposition of military rule by a foreign power....the UK is now set to behave dictatorially in the sovereign country of Iraq.

black propaganda- all that glitters is not gold

28.09.2005 15:30

Quoting the Telegraph, why? You DO KNOW that the Telegraph is PROUD to publish some of the worst racist jewish propaganda anywhere on planet Earth, and unlike the other papers in the UK, makes no attempt to hide the fact. People know where the Telegraph stands.

Better quote the BBC, or the Guardian. These organisations have the same aim as the Telegraph, but disguise the fact (badly) because they target a VERY DIFFERENT section of the public.

Whereas the Telegraph is 'preaching to the perverted', other outlets of Blair's mass media target an audience that MUST be moved to a new position in order to enable Blair's schemes.

The Guardian targets the 'fair-trade dribblers', a pathetic bunch of liberal lefty bleeding-hearts whose resolve and integrity has all the moral strength of a catholic priest in a children's home. This audience was considered key for Blair's war plans in Iraq, so the Guardian was made the main pro-war, anti-muslim propaganda outlet.

Anyway, back to the pro-Blair propaganda article above. Notice the lack of ALL TRUE DETAILS regarding the terrorism plot foiled by Iraqi police. An elimination of ALL SIGNIFICANT FACTS. British terrorists
- disguised as insurgents
- gunning down Iraqi police
- armed with anti-vehicle RPG weaponary
- armed with masses of bomb making equipment
- caught in the middle of a false-flag bombing exercise that would have murdered 10's if not 100's of Iraqis

Alway look the the details that are so CAREFULLY omitted! Black propaganda consists of stories that MAY appear to back the position you hold, but in doing so attempt to manipulate you by eliminating certain facts from your thinking. The finally quote "the UK is now set to behave dictatorially in the sovereign country of Iraq." says it all. Note the careful DENIAL of the past, and the explicit statement that bad stuff MAY happen in the future. Standard black propaganda for the hard-of-thinking.

Iraq does not just suffer from the same rape-torture-murder military occupation that many endured during WW2 under Hitler. Blair goes one stage further than Hitler, and has his people keep the population in a constant state of terror by running a terror bombing campaign.

Of course, maintaining power through the use of terror is nothing new. What is new is that Blair murders so casually, while his casual supporters distort all sense of reality to pretend that he does not.

Guys, Blair's next phase is due to kick in very soon. The Shia have gained all the temporary advantage from the invasion of Iraq that they were ever going to get. With the next stage involving the destruction of Iran (and here we are talking about Blair's murder of at least 1/3 of Iran's total population), the Sunni are about to be clashed against the Shia big time.

Blair is switching to the Iron Fist for Basra. That means cranking up the rape-torture-murder machine to the levels experienced by many Sunni areas. The British terrorists in Basra are about to be let loose. The time is rapidly approaching for Blair to introduce the British public to the idea that the British army can, and will match the US atrocity for atrocity. However, this will happen mainly because Blair needs his proxy US force to ready itself for vastly more serious crimes than any commited in Iraq. The psychology is simple. The British army will normalise the atrocity behaviour of the US, by emulating it, allowing the US army to move to a whole new level of atrocity behaviour by comparison.

John Reid... remember, the WORST butchers come from the left (depressing fact)! However, the usefullness of these two-bit thugs to Blair is very limited. Most of them need to be replaced on a regular basis.

Let me say that if you are a casual supporter of New Labour (New Reich), look into your heart to discover the evil that you do, and the evil that you will do. Go listen to the testamony from those survivors of WW2 who casually supported the leadership of WW2 Germany or Japan, and how they felt about themselves, and their crimes afterwards. Understand that only YOU empower Blair, allowing him to carry out his litany of hate and destruction, because Blair CANNOT empower himself. If you support New Labour, or its goals, in any sense, you are directly responsible for each and every crime committed by Blair, and as a human, you are as blood stained as 'people' like Fred and Rose West. A simple question- why do you hate us so?

If you "don't care", then why the fuck did you post a comment at all?

Why not just ignore it? I don't care about football but I don't go around trolling specious bollocks on footy websites. That's their bag and not mine and that's just fair enough.

I put it to you that you are a nowt more than a troublemaking, attention-seeking nobber with personal issues.

There's plenty on this site about domestic issues and rightly so. Why don't you fuck off and look at them, and leave us who DO CARE about our government's complicity in state terrorism, mass slaughter and imperialism alone?

Shit the bed! The amount of people on IMC who pop up with this either/or mentality is quite beyond me. There is plenty of room for everyone, you miserable twats!

>>that last statement refers to the imposition of military rule by a foreign power....the UK is now set to behave dictatorially in the sovereign country of Iraq.<<

The UK is not now set to behave dictatorially in the sovereign country of Iraq. The UK behaves so badly in Iraq since two years it is almost beyond belief.

Britain and the US shoud have apologized to Iraq, paid compensation for the deads and damage done and evacuated WHEN THE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION WERE NOT FOUND if there was anything fair about that claim in the first place.

I just remember how they murdered Saddam Hussein's sons when it would have been just a knack to capture them simply by waiting that they starve enough to surrender. Instead of that, the house they were in got blown up with a missile and their dead heads were later triumphantly broadcasted as trophies worldwide.

In the same vein, mutilated Iraqi boys were exhibited as living trophies and humiliated at Buckingham palace where they stated to the UK press their admiration for Tony Blair who had mutilated them "by mistake" and killed "by mistake" most of their relatives. After that public exhibition at Buckingham palace those two mutilated Iraqi kids were paraded to the crowds in football stadiums all over england by Sven Goran Erikson in partnership with the UK gov and CARE, the London based "charity" whose head of Iraqi operations Margaret Hassan got later executed in Baghdad after a couple of tearful movies of her made their way to the public.

They give one after another humanitarian like type of justification for their continuous military presence when this presence is the sole and unique real factor behind all the violence and deaths that engulfs this country.

They invaded for a wrong reason. Killed at least 10s of 1000s. Did hundreds of billions worth of damage on infrastructure. Looted the country of its most precious archeological artifacts dating from the first urban civilization known to us. Spread hundreds if not thousands of tons of depleted uranium dust (an extremely persistant teratogenic poison) all over the country which can be easily read as an act of chemical genocidal warfare. Ruled themselves for some time, then designated leaders and forced people to vote for one of another of them. Those designated leaders then wrote a constitution for which the people will soon be forced to vote if they don't want to starve. They trained a new army and a new police force. But suddenly those are as bad as Saddam was when they dare to arrest and keep in custody two blokes who turned out to be two British SAS because they fire bullets at one police checkpoint instead of complying to orders to stop and explain to the policemen they were British agents on an anti-insurgency mission.

So I go a bit off topic here as I have just found something to say about the two undercover SAS. What orders had those two SAS in the possible case they would be stopped for whatever reason by the genuine, brave and courageous Iraqi law enforcement or military forces trained by the brits and repeatedly much lauded for their commitment to their country by the mouth of Blair ? Shoot to kill them and then run away or show a British military card + a "diplomatic" phone number to call ?

Back on topic. Conclusion. What the foreign military occupier does in Iraq is far worst than dictatorship and it does it since day one without stopping a single second. The US and British military presence is a permanent crime against this country and its people. They want to kill Iraq off, that's all they are after. And the don't want leave Iraq until it's done it would seem.

Then the troops will leave after the creation of a strong Kuweit like state in Southern Iraq for keeping the oil money pouring in the right pockets as it now does since now two years while the rest of Iraq will starve and will have little choice but to work for decontaminating the israelis' newly acquired lands.

Israel Military Industries Ltd of Israel now supplies the US army in bullets as the demand is so high. The US army claims they use up 250.000 rounds for killing a single "terrorist" (any Iraqi or Afghan they fancy to kill). What if they are lying about bullets to kill ratio as much as they lie about the rest of it and only use 5.000 rounds per kill as most of their weapons are now so smart that little is wasted. I suspect they kill a lot more than they say. Maybe even for collecting organs in some places designated by them as terrorists nests which they first isolate and then raid without any witnesses, sometimes for months like in Fallujah, having enough time and leisure to retrieve and ship away the corpses of their countless victims as not to leave also mass graves behind them.

But it's coming our way also. With Jean De Menezes, a precedent has been created. It is the exact same type of precedent on the domestic scene than Iraq is on the international scene, a right to kill a potential threat preemptively with entire impunity even if it is subsequently proven that the target could not have been perceived as a threat. The same people to run it.

I had just watched the Labour conference a bit. It's all red. An orgy of red. Do you think it represents the Iraqi bloodshed and that they are symbolically bathing into it ? I think so.

I think the Labour conference is a black mass to mass murder. At least it's the feeling I get when I watch it because I only see all this Iraqi blood, sorry red painting, they have splashed everywhere and in which they laugh and congratulate each other in endless rounds of applause those recent days.

Dictatorship you said ? Or criminal insanity ?
