Sparkbrook District Plan 05-06 (Your future in their hands)
Me or the Birmingham City Council- if you like | 22.09.2005 00:23 | Birmingham
Are your visions of Sparkbrook a 'Balti Triangle'? Offering a 'great future' to all those living within the Sparkbrook ward- food and not much else? Do you really want to be associated with this? Are your aspirations of the future of you and your children a steady diet of culinary delights? Birmingham City Council obviously think so!

Birmingham City Council are to hold a series of meetings starting on the 24th September 2005 at Clifton Road Junior School, Balsall Heath to discuss the plans of the future or the Sparkbrook ward (which includes Balsall Heath, Moseley, Sparkhill etc)
It is obvious that Birmingham City Council have absolutely NO vision for the future of these wards. Balti resturants aren't being built anymore- since 9/11 visiting 'leisure tourists' have decreased in numbers- on the other hand, fast food outlets (and all their associated litter they bring) are on the increase.
Read this B.C.C. pdf and protest! After all the literal translation of 'Balti' is BUCKET!!!
