Protesters picket Blue Arrow in Liverpool to support Gate Gourmet workers

In solidarity with the sacked Gate Gourmet workers, protesters today picketed the Liverpool office of temp agency Blue Arrow and handed out hundreds of flyers with information about the dispute to passers-by.

A previous demonstration on 2nd September saw Blue Arrow close its office for "staff training" for most of the day, in the face of 20 protestors! On that day Blue Arrow offices around the country were picketed by supporters of the Gate Gourmet workers.

Liverpool protesters are determined to keep the pressure up on Blue Arrow as long as it continues to undermine the pay and conditions of already poorly paid jobs by providing temporary workers on even lower pay to do the work of the sacked Gate Gourmet staff.

Most employment agencies are greedy, and if you have a difficult boss or bullying, slave driving employer recruitment consultants almost always take their side because all they care about is money.

don't think a big agency like Blue Arrow will care
