Yeah, I agree. But perhaps we should stop being so suprised. It's hardly a new thing. I mean, you could apply this logic to nearly every single news story in all the tabloids and most of the "serious" papers.

And I think the public set the agenda for what we read. If the arms fare sold papers, then it would get in. We are not just passive consumers of stuff provided by an evil media. The market has no morals, just as long as it makes money.
