DSEI report

A report of today's activities at DSEI

We arrived this morning at around 10:30 with a great atmosphere and the band already playing. The sun was shining and the Police were everywhere with security checks on the DLR, the stations near the Excel centre and the surrounding area but we weren't delayed.

I was impressed by the turnout with some people coming from France, Germany and Holland, I even heard a couple of Italian accents. My group were welcomed warmly by the rest and soon we were all talking, comparing experiences and exchanging contact details for future events. It was also nice to run into a couple of old friends from previous times.

We had a veggie lunch with some new friends at around 1pm and continued our activites until just before 5 when we decided to call it a day. A great day with real comradeship and commitment shown by everyone we met.

There were some hippies accross the water shouting for a while but we couldn't here what they were saying, never mind.
