U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney told to "Go ƒ#©k yourself Mr Cheney" by an off camera bystander twice on live television.

8th September 2005

The former CEO of Halliburton, U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, was reported saying that he was "tremendously impressed with the messages I've received from the local folks," while touring the storm damaged region in Gulfport, Mississippi. Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg Brown and Root was awarded $12 million dollars to repair the naval station in Gulfport. While he was speaking to reporters, his news conference was interrupted by a heckler:

Dick Cheney: I was talking to the mayor in those areas...

Bystander: Go f&¢k yourself, Mr. Cheney.

Dick Cheney: ...we have got to figure out what to do with all of the debris.

Bystander: Go Fµ¢k Yourself !

CNN Reporter: Are you getting a lot of that, Mr. Vice President?

Dick Cheney: That's the first time I've heard it [to reporter] - oh, never mind.

It's not the first time Mr Cheney has used that kind of talk though. Last year he told Sen. Patrick Leahy to "Go f#£k yourself" during a heated exchange on the Senate floor. That incident occurred after Leahy harangued Cheney about profiteering by Halliburton and President Bush's judicial nominees.

Same shit, different day, on the other foot, for Vice President Cheney.

The guy that said this to Cheney is a local emergancy room doctor. Apparently he was arrested by dept homeland security troops immediately after, cuffed, questioned for 20 minutes as to his involvement in 'terrorism' before being released once the stormtroopers realsied a CNN newsteam was filming.
