The upcoming union conference season is upon us. This is an opportunity to set our collective stalls out and spread the word nationally and make some good contacts with fellow activists and other campaigning groups. The issue of finance is also good for collections and Gate Gourmet are at Brighton TUC from Saturday discussion on support motion Monday.
The Gate Gourmet picketers and other groups will be at Brighton TUC Conference for the duration from now till they finish on the 14th September they're due to discuss the motion of support for the strike on Monday with the TGWU threatening an all out strike, but in all likelihood a sellout is being brokered as we speak. However here in Liverpool over at Ellesmere Port strike threatened and over at Jaguar plant halewood strike over jobcuts are planned all of them involve the tgwu and the possibility of fanning the flames wider and higher is at hand.
