"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" Martin Luther King (1929-1968)

Babar Ahmad is a professional graduate born and raised in London. He was arrested by British authorities in December 2003. After intensive questioning and extensive searches of his property, he was released six days later without charge.
If substantial evidence against Babar Ahmad existed, he would have been charged

He was rearrested in August 2004 on an extradition warrant from the U.S. and has since remained in detention.

On 17th May 2005, a Magistrate agreed to extradite Babar Ahmad to the United Statesof America. Under the new UK-U.S. Extradition Treaty2003, Babar will be extradited without the chance to defend himself in a British Court against the allegations. If he is successfully extradited he is likely to face:

•Gross abuses in U.S. prisons: no access to visitors, no private access to a lawyer.
•Denial of a fair trial: use of unreliable evidence obtained under torture or through plea bargaining
•Rendition: he could be secretly kidnapped and transferred to a third state for torture.
•Military Tribunal: he could be sent to Guantanamo Bay.
•Death Penalty: he could be placed on Death Row.

Help salvage Britains sovereignty.
Protect our own citizens like America protects theirs
