Demo report - pictures to follow

A good demo tonight outside the MoD main building in Whitehall London to protest the decision to use nuclear power plants in the new aircraft carriers being built by BAE Systems and Thales.

An initial group of 20 was joined by a further 8 later on and thanks to them for the noise !

We handed out leaflets explaining our objections to the decision and explaned to passers by why we were there, even some MoD people didn;t know about the decision and some even shared our concerns.

Pictures were taken but I don't have the camera with me tonight so I will post them tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to the pictures of this action - why not put up the text of the leaflet that was so well received? Is there a CND link to an action report?

You forgot to tell us what the cops did during this action. Cos I believe that you need permission to protest outside the MOD since SOCPA. Many staff coming off shift at 8pm were there?
