WE DO NOT WANT UNITED STASTES TASER STUN GUNS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. We are civilised people. The majority of British people are against the use of arms , by anybody, we want no guns of any kind, for whatever reason. We are a nation of people who are easy going, we love children,weloveanimals.

We demand to know why this government has brought UNITED STATES T ASER stun guns into OUR country by STEALTH. This is a very democratic country. Why were the people NOT consulted? We Have Consultations about Whether There Should Be Three Or Two Commas In A Statute Never Used, Yet With Regard To This Subject Which DEROGATES the Human Rights of Every One of Us, the United Kingdom Government Saw Fit Not To Consult Us. NANNY has decided what is good for us, and we are treated as if “we mustn’t trouble our pretty little heads over this matter”. It is rumoured that the United Kingdom Government has decided to Arm EveryPpoliceperson In Britain with a United States Taser stun gun. We were not informed. We were not consulted. This is no way for an intelligent democratic government to treat intelligent people. It is our business to know what equipment and weapons the government is spending our taxes on. Are the United States Taser stun guns to be bought by each district? Must the United States Taser stun guns be competitively bought? Will the contracts be put out to tender? Who will train the police of the United Kingdom? Who is qualified to train our police?

We all know of back street outfits who dish out certificates after one day of playing with a gun, be it a United States Taser stun gun or bullet.
United Kingdom Home Office and United Kingdom P olice Chiefs must reassure us in writing that United States Taser stun guns will only be issued to trained firearms officers (of which there are only 6,900 trained firearm officers in this country. The manufacturers of the United States Taser stun guns state in their Annual Report 2003 (see previous posting) that the United States Export Control Department allowed Taser International Inc. to TREAT United States TASER stun guns AS ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT , AND SO THEY NEED NO ARMS AND GUN EXPORT CONTROL LICENCES.
