News of a forthcoming TV documentary on the Craig Murray campaign against Jack Straw in Blackburn

On Saturday September 17, at 8.20pm, BBC 2 will be showing 'The Ambassador’s Last Stand', the story of the Craig Murray election campaign against Jack Straw in Blackburn, and the reasons for it. More than just a nostalgic look back – it raises issues of the alienation of Muslims through New Labour foreign policy. In the wake of the London bomb attacks these issues are of continuing and urgent concern.

There appears to have been a degree of debate within the BBC about whether to broadcast this programme and the BBC publicity department may not be promoting it. We are therefore using all avenues through the internet and other media to spread the word.

Thanks for that. Why not suggest it by email? There are email contact details on the original posting on the Craig Murray site.

Jumping to conclusions

This is a slightly petty point...but the comment 'shame they don't have the stomach for it' is just one of the reasons I'm turned off this site whenever I come to it. You don't know they aren't publicising it. It was suggested that it was a possibility that there had been some debate. Stick to the facts and people will be more interested in reading what's on this site.
