Tune Liberation Party

Paul Scott | 03.09.2005 15:46 | Culture | London

We champion the world’s finest free music to collectively demonstrate that there is much more to modern music than the mundane mainstream. The Pi Music Communication Network also has many facilities for independently minded, forward-thinking creatives and we shall promote our revolutionary communication ideology by nurturing the most potent musical community the world has ever heard - to challenge all who claim that commerce is the only thing that really matters...

Yes indeed we're doing another sublime session this saturday (3rd September) at the Circle Centre!

All is confirmed! Here's the final musical line-up and what a fine feast we have to lay on your starving ears! And possibly even a tune performed by yours truly at the beginning...so come early to enjoy the show in it's entire splendour! All times are estimated... I suspect we'll have some overun: don't matter, the hippies are happy for us to stay as long as we want!

8:00pm: Doors, intro and possibly a quick rendition of 'Imperfuction' (pi)
8:30pm: Nadege
9:00pm: Alex Ward & special guests
9:30pm: Simon Kitchener
10:00pm: Robinson / Truck
10.30pm: Revere
11:00pm: Where The Spoken Play
11:30pm: Evi Vine
12:00am: Marcels Permanent Wave
12:30am: The Derelicts
1:00am: Virginia Macnaughton

The Circle Centre (St Georges Theatre),
49 Tufnell Park Road,
London N7

(about 100 metres from the Odeon cinema, off the Holloway Road).

As usual, there's a snazzy cut-out-and-keep flyer for the event - please do forward to all your friends!

BTW there's no alcohol licence at the venue, so don't forget to bring your own! Donation entry, but the venue management are looking to charge £5. Haggle from £2...

See you down there,

Paul Pi xxx
