Arrests at EU protests in Newport, South Wales

At least two arrests have occured as police cracked down on protests about the EU summit currently taking place in Newport, South Wales
At about ten o'clock this morning police took heavy action against a small number of people, who were having a protest about the EU summit currently taking place in Newport.
Two people so far have been arrested. The whole event was recorded by the BBC. Local residents have stated their shock at the level of policing, and their consequent actions.
Reports are coming in of London Metropoliton Police FIT following and harrasing the remaining protestors.

The two people who got arrested did not do so 'on purpose'. They were targetted and harrased and forced to the floor because they were wearing a mask which they did not want to remove whilst having a F.I.T camera shoved in their faces. But, hey thanks for your support and its nice to see that you chose to do nothing at all and have proposed nothing at all. ta!
