so indymedia are facists...is that because they are against hierarchies and any forms of domination or opression? im sure as a socialist you couldnt possibly support any of these, oh hang on, socialism is about hierarchies where just like the government an elected body tells everyone else whats better for them. Looking at previous examples of socialist uprisings and countries governed by socialists (anyone remember Stalin or Lenin?) i fail to see how you can be pointing the finger at indymedia for being facist when unlike yourself they are against pointless party politics and power hungry leaders. Poland is celebrating its liberation from the clutches of socialism, maybe you should take a leaf out of their book and follow suit.

Interesting why you object to this post being hidden. Take a look at the Indymedia guidelines with regards to hierarchy. Guess this explains why the blog advert for SWP and Respect was hidden.
The blog claims that the SWP is a real socialist alternative? are you having a laugh?

Any party following a Bolshevik line has no place in what we may broadly be called the "left". Read up on the activities of the Bolsheviks and how they quickly set out to crush any true libertarian ideas in Russia.
Sorry, silly me, i forgot that independent thinking is not encouraged/tolerated in the SWP. Better not diverge from the books wrote by your leaders.

What kind of newspeak is this? Indymedia ARE a hierarchy and dominate and oppress regularly, so much so that the oppressed generally give up posting and no longer have a voice, which is what they want to happen. Give anybody a sniff of power and they will behave like Special Constables in their own Stanford University experiment.

Of course the batallions of 'tin-foil hat' accusations are always just off stage, ready to be wheeled in at a moment's notice. Having been subjected to such ridicule, often by the IMCers themselves, I find it quite hilarious that I have got to know quite a lot of them 'itrw' and have engaged with them in serious debate - no mention of tin-foil hats! Their attitude is generally aloof and the snottiness of being an IMCer reeks from them. Don't they just love wearing the T-shirt!

So, next time you are idly chatting to a dreadlocked fem in the Indymedia tent (trying to moisten my pants with your admin status) at the Stirling Eco-Village (not very likely, I know) bear in mind that you may have been censoring my words or taking the piss out of me. And probably my mates too.
