The workers sacked this month by Gate Gourmet have called for solidarity protests this Friday 2nd Sepetember against Blue Arrow, the agency supplying temps to Gate Gourmet. ( http://www.sackedbygategourmet.org.uk/support.htm). A picket of Blue Arrow's Liverpool office at 47 Castle Street has been called for 12.00 this Friday. Assemble outside the offices at 12, or meet beforehand at 11.30 in the Egg Cafe. These temps are effectively being used as strike breakers, no doubt against their better judgement. Blue Arrow are being targetted in support of the temp workers they're exploiting and as a protest against their involvement in Gate Gourmet's anti union activities. Please spread this as widely as possible, and come along if you can - even ten minutes during your lunch hour would be much appreciated.
