The American Government failed to evacuate poor people on buses before your hurricane hit. That's because Bush knows most of those poor people didn't vote for him. I don't suppose he cares about poor Americans losing their lives. He certainly doesn't care about them dying in Iraq, or the 100,000 Iraqi civilians that have been killed in their war.

Over a billion people live without decent sanitation or clean drinking water in the world. At least America is rich and they can afford to clean up.

Not only is our PM Mr Blair totally crazy but the vast majority of the people in the UK are too. They are going around complaining about the war in Iraq yet will not even contemplate that they are a part of the consumer culture / war machine that is behind recent crazy and blatant resource wars. They say "stop the war" but the only way anything like that is going to happen is if they instigate changes at home. They expect peace and tranquility to prevail while still expecting to be able to use their cheap cars to do the cheap "big shop" at cheap ASDA, take their kids to school miles away from where they live, eat cheap food that's travelled 1500 miles before it lands on their plates and to carry on with business as usual in our perpetual growth economy / disposable culture that is sucking every last drop of energy from the planet. We are the driving force behind all this destruction. We're crazy!
