Senior Iran cleric hails “Islamic state of Iraq”

Does this pawn believe he has won something ? All this is merely forced onto Iraq by the foreign military invader.

Tehran, Iran, Aug. 26 – A senior Iranian cleric welcomed on Friday the establishment of an Islamic republic in Iraq and hailed the country’s new constitution as one based on “Islamic precepts”.

Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, who heads the powerful ultra-conservative Guardian Council, told worshippers in Tehran’s Friday prayers, “Fortunately, after years of effort and expectations in Iraq, an Islamic state has come to power and the constitution has been established on the basis of Islamic precepts”.

“We must congratulate the Iraqi people and authorities for this victory”, he said.

Jannati, who is a top confidant of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said that all justice-seeking counties of the world “have no model other than the Islamic revolution in Iran to turn to”.

“Lebanese Hezbollah and the state of Iraq are not the only supporters of the Islamic revolution”, he said.

True it seems the government of the USA and Great Britain as well are the best supporters of the Islamic revolution (who hangs children as young as 15 for lewd acts and uses commercial US software to censor the internet) as this "constitution" is only the fact of the docile and greedy pawns holed in the Green Zone and permanently protected by more military might than Imperator Bush and Tony Blair themselves.

It seems this is not the result of incompetence on the part of the USA and Great-Britain but theocratic rule is apparently wanted by them since day one and before.

Evidence ?

In 1991, Georges W. Bush, self acknowledged head of the New Oiled Order, encourages Islamists to revolt against Saddam's secular rule which they do and seize power which they fail.

In April 2003, the Coalition forces are bringing with them Majid Al-Khoei, who had just spent twelve years in Kilburn, London. He was the son of the predecessor of the Iranian Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, the current "pope" of the Shia muslims on which London heart surgeons recently operated.

Majid Al Khoei was the head of the Shia muslims in Britain and met privately and publically several times with Tony Blair. He did strongly support the invasion of Afghanistan and, of course, Iraq and finished snatched by swords by the mob one week after arriving in the Holy City of Najaf. Accounts slightly differ as to the exact circumstances and reasons for his death.

Interesting as well is the story of the American journalist who got recently murdered in Basra. He was apparently reporting about Police and Badr brigades (Iranian backed) death squads currently massively operating in the area against former baath party members in particular and sunnis in general, apparently with the blessing of the British occupier.

Excuse my rants.
