What started as a news article has become a discussion.

The Gate Gourmet article started as a news item about scab workers taking striking workers' jobs. After nineteen comments it has become a discussion about how to defeat capitalism/start co-operatives, and so on.
All good stuff but not news, so I have moved the article to "Social Struggles", and off the newswire.
Please continue this interesting thread over there.

I disagree with this Minimouse. Discusion about the conduct of this dispute, the rights and wrongs of Gate Gourmet and BA's actions and the actions of strikers their supporters is news. I would agree if the discussion only concerned the formation of co-ops and the defeat of capitalism, but there is a current dispute.

All will deplore the abuse and threats of violence directed against those who are working, however that is also not a reason to move this item.
