Pantene Pro-V, testing with animals

Open letter to Pantene Pro-V

Dear Sir or Madam:

Being such an important businessperson, we suppose you have had the means to acquire a good culture standard. So that you must know whom the Nazis were, and you ought to have the knowledge that they did kill millions of Jews and Russians and they invaded large areas of Europe.

You might have heard as well about the concentration camps, in where hundreds of thousands of people were jailed. Maybe you also know of the sinister figure of Josef Mengele, who tested around using Jews as if guinea pigs. Among his large extent of tests, he tried to change the eye colour by injecting chemical substances in children’ eyes, all sorts of amputations, tremendous surgeries and even some attempt to create artificially Siamese twins by joining twin brothers’ veins.

We are writing you to let you know that Pantene Pro-V shampoo is probably the best one for our hair. However, we had to quit using it according to our conscience. We do not think at all that your enterprise treats animals in a better way than Nazis did with Jews.

We have to put forward three main points about this. First of all, we certainly know that some people have given up using your product for this very reason. Secondly, we are strongly determined to carry out denouncing campaigns. Finally, we will take up using Pantene Pro-V only if:

1. You can give us any evidence stating that animal lives are worth less than the ones of people. That is to say, if you manage to prove us that animals do not suffer from physical pain, fear, boredom, depressions or psychic unease.

2. Pantene Pro-V publicly announce their giving up their tests with animals. What is more, the enterprise ought to add a label to all their products stating it, as it does The Body Shop, for instance.

We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully,

Orwell, SoDDa & eil

Whoever wrote this comment on this manufacturer needs to be educated on the extreme differences between humans and animals. Maybe he should have a conversation with these animals and ask them how they feel about being tested on. I'm sure he will come back with large amounts of nothingness.

In reference to animals being treated in the same sense as the Jewish Holocaust...this person is ignorant. He knows little about the cruelties that Jews were subjected to and once again is comparing a human life to that of a dog, rat, or some other insignificant animal.

animal insignificance?

whos the almighty judge to who's insignificant and who's not-a self worshipping verbal conformist like you-to be significant do you have to destroy and concrete the natural world and enslave, dominate, abuse(branding, castration, debeaking, detoeing etc) and kill trillions of gendered pulsating heart beating individuals in slaughterhouses, vivisection labs, fur confinement facilaties, zoos, circuses and other humanist achievements that are included in self appraising fraudulence of- CIVILISATION

Jimbo is the ignorant one

Just the fact that you yourself pointed out how different animals and humans are proves his point. Animals and humans are far too different for animal testing to show results that can really be trusted and there are other, more efficient and humane ways to test these products that are STILL being tested on animals, despite the research that tells us that animal testing shows us nothing. Furthermore, I completely agree with the other comment about you not being able to decide what is or isn't significant. Otherwise I could just deem you insignificant and squirt some chemicals into your eyes and see what happens, all for absolutely no reason.

Satisfied with Changes

I am excited that Pantene Pro-V is discontinuing their product to be tested on animals. I recently became aware of the cruelty and suffering that animals go through so I happy to see my favorite companies stopping animal testing for their products.
