Agree it would be good to change the image on general principles of keeping the site looking fresh, but something less of a montage than what is currently offered would be better IMHO. Two points on the montage as it stands

1. very yellow - is this intentional?

2. what's the cops up to - due to the lettering it is hard to see what they are focusing on so it gives the impression that we see the cops as part of the IMC thingamajig. Certainly that was my first impression on looking at the image, and first impressions are more important in banners than having to have a good look to work out what is going on.

BTW This is just part of a proposed redesign of Oxford IMC, which you would
be able to check out at:

...but the dev server seems to be down at the moment :-(

This is really cheesey!

I quite like the graffiti one but I can see we've had it for a while. Anyone fancy posting some alternatives ...

the seams to be a failer of concesuease - the is a continueing problem with alt-projects and there volentery nature - that a small group have the final say on things getting done - the is an unspocken/inviseable elite at the center of TEC alternative - no matter what peopul descide and process goes through if they dont open the locked gates (of passworeds and knolage) than changes dont happen disimpowering pepul and groups isent what this is all about but is one of the worreingly re-acuring problems.

teckys do you have something to say about this? On a conected issue can anyone comment whay UK IMC still has a dark gray back ground for hidden txt affter the was a very long and inclusive discushern all archived that in the end agread to change it to a light gray background.

The reasen in both cases is that the peopul who have the power (nolage and access) dont feel motivated to implemet the changes. Thus there "very limited" point of view is imposed by defolt on everyone eles.

Its a problem.
