Boatyard at Elder Stubs

Matthew Morton | 21.08.2005 13:18 | Oxford

The Campaigne to Save Jericho Boatyard took to the Elder Stubs allotment festival with candles and cards for sale and the old petition which is well over 2000 strong now.

The day was glorious nestled in the orchard of the alloitment we were able to get our point across to the vaste majority of supporters at the festival. It was such a success that we are now planning an event at the boatyard for late september , to be confirmed. We will have an exhibition of canal based photography and other artwork, a forum to discuss the national issues of British water ways, film screenings, the cafe, a small market with candles, 2nd hand goods, veggies from local sources and displays of local ecological businesses.
