Stop the deportation of Susan Mataawe

19-year-old Ugandan Susan Mataawe is to be deported Saturday evening 10.45pm, 20 August, Ethiopian Airways, Heathrow,

Terminal 3

Originally an unaccompanied minor, Susan has been on hunger strike for 26 days.

She is reported to be very weak, dizzy, vomiting blood, unable to drink by now and to stand up straight. An independent doctor went to see her but was prevented access by Immigration. The doctor has spoken to her by the phone and believes it would be very dangerous for Susan to travel in her condition. She needs specialist medical care according to the doctor.

Besides Susan has nobody to look after her if she is deported.

Her father was kidnapped and killed. Later her mother was kidnapped and disappeared.

Susan then fled, leaving behind a younger brother and sister in the care of a nurse. She never heard from them again.

She has lost contact with everybody she knew in Uganda.

She may die if she is sent back to Uganda.

Please do not cooperate with this inhuman deportation.
