yeh, i agree. jeremy clarkson wants to be able to drive faster on more roads in bigger(more pollouting cars). the university shouldnt be associatng its self with this danger to pedestrians and the enviroment.
Clarky is a legend, and one of the people who talks more sense than most of you.
Take the guy above, if you drive somewhere faster you lose less petrol and so are less polluting: congratulations you have contradicted yourself entirely.
Also, the first two posters are obviously one and the same person due to the time differences: please get a job rather than sitting around Indymedia posting the same comment twice.
I'd also like to say Clarkson doesn't advocate speeding or breaking the high way code. Yes he only actively speeds on the continent, where it's not really frowned upon. (Thus not endangering pedestrians as you claim).
I also do not agree Jeremy Clarkson on his own is the sole responsibility for all environmental problems, or in fact any. You'd probably find the latter is true: one cars admissions can be cated for in the natural environmental systems and so he on his own is techinically not responsible.
clarkson is a person with real knowledge on cars love him or hate him he is devoted to what he loves best as like alan titmarsh loves his gardens as well damon hill tries to be as good as his famous dad graham hill so the guy has been running top gear from as far back as the 80's with his gerrycurl hairstyle and jeans so let him carry on entertaining us, if some of you lot dont like it watch another program instead there is nearly 400 channels if not well over let the guy enjoy his fun he well and truely earned his place at the top so STEP OFF PUNK!!
what is wrong with all these people who feel as if they need to be protesting against something all the time for no apparent reason, clarkson is a legend and all this talk about him single handedly taking down rover is pretty stupid, people should try and have some fun in there lifes and not spend so much time attempting to belittle the people that are, its quite selfish
