Some facts

From reading comments here on the newswire you would think there is an entity called a Palestinian people, who lived in a country/state/area called Palestine since Canaanite/Biblical/Mohammadan times. The Israelis occupied Palestine in 1967. The Palestinians want the occupiers out of their land. And of course they are entitled to do whatever it takes to get their land back. No? No.
Here's the facts.
Who are the Palestinians? Palestinians are Arabs. They have no historical, national or cultural identity distinct from other Arabs of the region. Most of them came into Palestine in search of economic opportunities after World War 1 when the British and the Jews began to build up a land that was moribund.
What is Palestine? When the Romans conquered Judea, they renamed it Palestine. Since then, no occupying power ever made it an independent state or established a capital in Jerusalem. Under the Ottoman Empire, it was part of the province of Syria.
After World War I, the area was mandated to Britain to establish a Jewish national home. Instead, in 1922, Britain split off 75% of Palestine to establish the Emirate of Transjordan, as a throne for the Arabian Hashemite family.
The UN decided to split the rest of Palestine between Jews and Arabs. In 1948, Arab armies and volunteers - from Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Morocoo - attacked the newborn State of Israel. Transjordan annexed the area intended for an Arab state, and renamed itself the Kingdom of Jordan, calling the annexed area the "West Bank". Egypt took over Gaza. No Arab suggested making the West Bank and/or Gaza into yet another Arab state until 1967, when Israel was again attacked by the Arabs and took these areas.
Whether or not she choses to exercise the right, Israel owns the West Bank by right of conquest. She also has unassailable biblical, historical and residential claims. The Mandate to develop a Jewish state in ALL of Palestine is still in force. Before 1967, the last previous legal owner was the Ottoman Empire. And Turkey, heir to the Ottomans, has never asked for it back.

This is a common statement of Zionist apologists, who wish to excuse the violent actions of European Zionists in this region.
The Palestinians are those Arabs who inhabited the region known as Palestine, and coexisted in relative peace with the small Jewish communities there, until Zionists arrived from Europe, polarized the region, and ethnically cleansed the Arabs from their land, in order to create the desired demographics of the people who desired the wealth and power only a State of their own could provide.
"Palestinians are Arabs. They have no historical, national or cultural identity distinct from other Arabs of the region."
That is not true. Your need to LIE only hilights the emptiness of your position, as well as your own knowledge of the indefensibility of your racist beliefs.
The Palestinians have a very distinct culture and history. Israelis have taken steps for decades now to destroy Palestinian cultural artifacts, and block exhibitions of Palestinian art, music, and history from traveling to countries such as the United States.
"What is Palestine? When the Romans conquered Judea, they renamed it Palestine. Since then, no occupying power ever made it an independent state or established a capital in Jerusalem."
That is because the British occupied this region, and claimed it as a part of their Empire. This portion of the Zionist Mythology is a Straw Man. This political designation does not mean that you have the right to make war upon the Arabs who inhabited the region for generations.
"After World War I, the area was mandated to Britain to establish a Jewish national home."
Actually, only a small portion was designated as such, and this only came after Zionist Terrorist Organizations, like the Haganah, directed attacks against British holdings and military installations, and Zionists used their political influence to bring the United States into the Great War, which kept Britain from being defeated, and forced to sign an Armistice Agreement with Germany.
This was their reward, but it did not authorize acts of violence against Palestinian Arabs, or their forced expulsion from the region. Zionism pursued a path of Apartheid on its own, and arrived in the region fully intent upon this plan.
That is why minds from Gandhi to Einstein were openly critical of the Zionist State. On its surface, its intentions were great, but Zionist actions soon revealed that they had ulterior plans andmotivations, and that they had simply used the Jews to achieve their selfish interests.
"In 1948, Arab armies and volunteers - from Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Morocoo - attacked the newborn State of Israel."
In response to the forced expulsion by Zionists of 800,000 Palestinian Arabs from their homes, which were then either destroyed, or given to Zionist Settlers. This action stopped the forced expulsions, but deadly violence against palestinian Arabs escalated.
"1967, when Israel was again attacked by the Arabs and took these areas."
Israelis were making aggressive moves on Arab-held regions like the Sainai, and the Israelis struck first, according to objective historians such as Peter Mansfield (because the Arabs wouldn't act, except to defend their land), destroying their air force on the ground.
"Whether or not she choses to exercise the right, Israel owns the West Bank by right of conquest."
That is not true. The war was one of Zionism's making, and International Law says that you cannot keep what you have gained through aggressive warfare. But this was the reason for Israeli antagonism, to induce the Arabs to respond, thus hiding Israeli aggression. Unfortunately, the Arab militaries did not fully respond until Egypt was attacked by Israel.
"She also has unassailable biblical, historical and residential claims."
More of the Zionist Mythology.
"Israel", referred to in holy books, is a State of Being, a one-ness with the Creator, and has absolutely nothing to do with a piece of real estate.
That there was once, for a short period, a Jewish kingdom in the region, preceding and superceding a great many others, is irrelevant to what Zionism did in the 20th Century.
"The Mandate to develop a Jewish state in ALL of Palestine is still in force."
Indeed, even though there is no such legitimate Mandate, and Zionist Propaganda most often claims the exact opposite, while pursuing expansionism that supports this indefensible goal.
Take it elsewhere, Spook.
People are too informed for your kind here.

Facts:
1. The majority Jewish people do want to live in a racially pure ghetto with a wall round it, controlled by a police state, with a corrupt political system dominated by tiny groups of extremists, wholly subsidised by the west and hated by all their neighbours. That is why more Jewish people live in New York state than Israel.
2. The majority of Jewish people have never voted for the foundation of the state of Israel.
3. Apart from military force and a thousand year old quasi-religious claim what mandate does Israel possess to speak on behalf of all the Jewish people. Isn't this a similar mandate to that Hitler had when he claimed to speak for all the German people in europe regardless if they agreed with him or not?
