7-8 August 2005: Remember and Resist
Blockade AWE Aldermaston

To remember the 60th anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and to protest against the building of the next generation of nuclear weapons at the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston.

Remember: Sunday 7 August 10.00. Candle lit vigil at the gates of Aldermaston and Resist: Early, Monday 8 August: Blockade the gates of Aldermaston

Tours of the new developments, affinity group training for action and overnight accommodation available.

Once again an action is listed as being organised by "Block the Builders".

May I make it clear that a small group who do not represent the views of all of us that formed and run Block the Builders but who do control the website are not speaking for the majority.

It's no wonder we have trouble achieving change when we see posts like this. There are perhaps 7 to 10 people involved in this campaign and they have already split into three groups !

It can not be beyond you all to sit down and work out your differences, the stupid little spat between the two "Block the Base" groups was started by a failed love affair for God's sake !

Grow up and focus on the big picture.
