Two short interviews from footage filmed in Bristol by a local crew in the run up to the G8 summit. These edits focus on the two major themes of the G8 summit held in Scotland, July 2005: climate change and Africa.

The first interview is with an individual from London Rising Tide about the G8 and climate change: the differences between the G8's market-led approaches to the problem, and the principles of climate justice. This interview is 2mins 24 secs long.

The second interview is with Charles Umbegre, a water privatisation activist from Ghana, talking about the impact the G8 has on Africa, as well as his views on the effect that northern charitable efforts have on the global perception of Africa.
This interview is 3mins 56 secs long.

This footage was shot as part of the film project 'Words to the Power of 8' (working title) currently being co-ordinated by ATV in Bristol, producer:  johnatv@riseup.net. This edit was made by Ell Southern for IMC UK video during the G8 protests  ell@obin.org.

Each interview is compressed into 3 formats: real media (rm), quicktime (.mov) and mpeg1 (mpg).
All videos are under 20mb in size.
