Smoking Gun Memo - Reminder

Hey, we've been handing the smoking gun memo aka the "Downing Street Memo" on a platter. This document needs to be given more prominence in all media.

The war in Iraq is a complete fraud and everybody knows this. Why is it that no-one has been able to use this information to force Blair's resignation or more?

The document directly states "intelligence and facts are being fixed around the policy" [to oust saddam].

With this ammo, surely some politician somewhere, or some judge somewhere or anybody anywhere has the political will to mount a case against blair/bush etc outside the indymedia community... Surely something can be done!

Yes, the war in Iraq was illegal and nobody can do anything about it, I will tell you why, for the same reason that nobody can do anything about Saudi Arabia forcing women to cover up their faces or banning all religions on their land (appart from their own of course), nobody can do anything about it because the only way would be to start a new war against the UK (or the offending state), invade it, and kill thousands of civilians like you or me who have nothing to do with it.

Likely we can do something about Saddam Hussein gassing thousands of Kurds and he will be put on trial soon.

Scott Ritter talks extensively about the Downing St. Memo's, why the mainstream media largely ignored it, and why [questions in Hour 2] he feels it is now impossible to hold any President or Primeminister accountable because they are ALL implicit. All the g8 leaders and possibly more and back through history Nixon would have to face the same charges. Even media corporations (in the free world) would have to be looked at.

Aint gonna happen.

Revolution? Not 'till the masses start running out of food on the table I'd say.

I think the memo IS very important to for lots of people write about and for more people to understand what the plan is in place here. What is also important (just an opinion) is for people to know that the facts alone will not change anything, except peoples awareness of what they need to do to try and stop this imperial militaristic economic machine from reaching it's ultimate goal.

An all out war with Iran. A full on war economy for the rest of us. You can forget about healthcare too, we're at war.

If you have keep your eyes open you will notice that the propaganda machine against Iran has already started. We need to deal with that shit.
