Well, the greek indymedia sites are both hosted on the same server which has proven to be a bit shaky in the past. Before of thinking the worst, it is much more likely that a human made a technical error than any "real" repression. But if you are very desperate to know what is up you might want to contact the different collectives and tech teams and point any errors out to them. see: http://lists.indymedia.org
i can say that imc-barcelona is down because the server is broken. the techs are installing a new server. i think that this weekend the problem will be fixed. i don't know about the rest of imcs but maybe they share the same server.
i know that one of the canadian servers was compromised a month or two ago; it was then used as a mirror for the uk during the G8. now, it is being rebuilt and should be back online soon.
"real" repression or technical errors, the fact is that there is no alternativ mass information in the mentioned countries. Only the reports of the television and the articles of the newspapares. The alternative information against the official is during this period (explosions,antiterror law in Italy and England etc) more necessary than ever.
