Post 7/7, the need to understand what caused four British men to blow themselves up is crucial if we are to mount an effective defense strategy. Honest relection by all is urgently required.
Will he come clean?
There is much talk at the moment that the Muslim community, at least pre- 7/7, were in denial about extremism. I suspect that this might be true, but not being part of that community I am not in a position to know. What is evidently clear however is that Blair is in denial, unable and unwilling to bring himself to admit that his decision to invade Iraq was a major factor leading to the London attacks. Below is a short article describing how the friends of one of the bombers perceive his motivation.

One friend notes that Britain is -- quote -- "crying over 50 people, while a hundred people are dying every day in Iraq and Palestine." And he says the bombers are in heaven.
A friend of Tanweer's, Hasib Hussain, was also among the bombers. Acquaintances say Hussain had become more religious two years ago, but had never abandoned his boyhood friends for radicals."

Phony 'Al-Qaeda' Responsibility Claim a Proven Hoax

With regard to the so-called claim of responsibility for the London bombings from an unknown Al-Qaeda group which the British government is treating as 'serious,' MSNBC reported,
MSNBC TV translator Jacob Keryakes, who said that a copy of the message was later posted on a secular Web site, noted that the claim of responsibility contained an error in one of the Quranic verses it cited. That suggests that the claim may be phony, he said.
"This is not something al-Qaida would do," he said.
Furthermore, the website posting doesn't even claim personal responsibility, it simply references "the heroic mujahedeen" in the third person. The posting praises the attack, it doesn't even take responsibility for it.
These facts didn't stop countless newspapers and Neo-Con websites automatically assuming Al-Qaeda (or Al-CIAda) was behind the attack.

London attacksTony Blair will on Monday reject Conservative demands for a government inquiry into last week's London bomb attacks, insisting such a move would distract from the task of catching the perpetrators.
As police and security services on Sunday continued searching for the bombers - thought to be Islamist terrorists - Downing Street said the prime minister believed an inquiry now into the outrage which killed at least 49 people would be a "ludicrous diversion."
Instead, in a statement to the Commons on Monday following last week's Group of Eight summit, Mr Blair is expected to focus on the direction the government must take to ensure future terrorism is defeated.
In particular, the prime minister believes there must be far greater co-operation among European Union governments in the fight against terrorism - a view Charles Clarke, the home secretary, is expected to drive home at an emergency meeting of EU interior ministers this week.
He is expected to tell his counterparts governments must ensure operators keep data on telephone and internet exchanges for up to a year.
He also indicated on Sunday that he would consider granting further "control orders" if he thought they were necessary.
Mr Clarke said he was "very optimistic indeed" that last Thursday's bombers would be tracked down. But he feared further attacks could take place until that happened. "That is why the number one priority has to be the catching of the perpetrators."
Police continued to sift through the debris from Thursday's four explosions - three in the London Underground and one on a bus - and to examine witness accounts and intelligence as part of their hunt for the bombers.
But police chiefs indicated that had yet to establish the identity or the whereabouts of the terrorists they suspect belong to an extremist Islamist cell in sympathy with the aims of Al-Qaeda.
Tension several cities remained high over the weekend. Police said they had arrested, under prevention of terrorism laws, three British nationals on an inward flight at Heathrow early on Sunday but insisted that any link with last Thursday's bombings was speculative. The three were expected to be released later on Sunday night, according to police sources.
But the arrests, the dozens of bomb alerts in the English capital and an evacuation in the Birmingam city centre over the weekend reflect the nervousness of both police and the general public at the prospect that the bombers were still at large and capable of striking again.
The police also revealed that there had been a few cases of attacks on British Muslims in the wake of the bombings - including one in which an individual was "seriously injured."
The revelation came as some government officials expressed irritation that an article in a Sunday newspaper by Sir John Stevens, the former Metropolitan Police commissioner, might stir up racial tensions. He said the bombers were "almost certainly" British - with many more born and bred here willing to attack.

Ten Step Method To Staging a Terrorist Attack
1) Hire a Crisis Management firm to set up an exercise that parallels the terrorist attack you are going to carry out. Have them run the exercise at the precise locations and at the very same time as the attack. If at any stage of the attack your Arabs get caught, tell the police it was part of an exercise.
2) Hire four Arabs and tell them they're taking part in an important exercise to help defend London from terrorist attacks. Strap them with rucksacks filled with deadly explosives. Tell the Arabs the rucksacks are dummy explosives and wouldn't harm a fly.
3) Tell four Arabs to meet up at London Underground and disperse, each getting on a different train. Make sure Arabs meet in a location where you can get a good mug shot of them all on CCTV which you can later endlessly repeat to drooling masses on television.
4) While four Arabs are in London, plant explosives in their houses in Leeds. Plant some explosives in one of their cars in Luton for the police to later discover. Remember that Qu'ran and flight manual in the hijackers' car? Ha ha, they fell for that one hook, line and sinker. No need to change tactics on this one.
5) Before the bombings take place, make sure you warn any of your buddies who are scheduled to be anywhere near where the bombs go off. If this gets leaked to the press, just deny it.
6) 4th Arab goes out partying in London night before and ends up getting out of bed late. No worries, the 9/11 'hijackers' did the same thing but that didn't cause us a big problem. 4th Arab catches bus to see if other Arabs are waiting for him. 4th Arab starts hearing about explosions in the London Underground. 4th Arab comes to the realization that this he is being set up and freaks out. 4th Arab starts fiddling in his rucksack. 4th Arab sets bomb off and is blown up.
If you hired any additional Arabs and they also got wind of the set up, make sure tere are GPS locators in the rucksacks so you can have police snipers ready to kill them before they can blow the whistle.
7) After the bombs go off, put out a story for over an hour that the explosions are a simple electrical fault. This gives you cover time to make sure the lazy bus Arab is dead and any other hired Arabs who reneged are also dead. Make sure any CCTV footage that doesn't support your official story is either seized or destroyed.
8) A few hours after the bombings, have one of your boys post an 'Al-Qaeda statement' claiming responsibility. Don't worry about the whole 'misreferencing the Qu'ran' thing, these idiots don't have the attention spans to figure it out.
9) After you have made sure that all the Arabs are dead and you are managing the story accordingly, wait for four days until the police piece together the story and find the explosives you planted in Leeds and in the car in Luton. Remember that Qu'ran and flight manual in the hijackers' car? Ha ha, they fell for that one hook, line and sinker. No need to change tactics this time either. The time delay will convince the gullible public that a real investigation is taking place. Create a background of the hired Arabs being militant Muslims. The drooling masses, as was the case with the '9/11 hijackers,' will ignore stories of neighbours saying they were the quiet, educated types who liked children and playing sports.

"He liked to play football, he liked to play cricket. I'm shocked."
Another resident said he was just a "normal kid" who played basketball and kicked a ball around.
10) Sit back and enjoy as Blair and his minions grandstand in front of television cameras about staying the course in the war on terror. The pay raise, extra agency funding, and power to strip more freedoms and liberties made the ten easy steps to staging a terrorist attack a worthwhile venture. The dozens of dead people were necessary collateral damage. This is a dirty war, we need to be less moral than the terrorists to defeat them.
And that's how the government staged the bombings in ten easy steps.
Granted, you can interchange different pieces of the puzzle. The bombers could be real terrorists that knew exactly what they were doing. All you would need to do is control the 'mastermind' behind the attack and make sure his boys carried out the job in the way you wanted. Voila.
The birth of the London bomb Official Story
You can practically hear the click at that moment in the life of every conspiracy when the police investigation turns into the Official Story. At that point, the investigation is intended to 'fix the facts' to the Official Story, and the cover-up begins. The story of the London bombs has made this transformation within the last twenty-four hours. The authorities thought it was small bombs with timers or triggered by cell phones and almost certainly not a suicide bomb attack; now they claim with certainty that the bombs were accompanied by handlers, some or all of whom may have died in the blasts, possibly by accident and probably intentionally (which means they were suicide bombers, as it is extremely unlikely that all four made a mistake). The original story was that it was an international al Qaeda operation; now it is British Muslims. In just a day or two, everything has changed.

Bet this guy never thought that simply by taking Mass Transit that day, his memory would be so horribly destroyed.
More ands more the evidence indicates that the accused men are not the type to engage in acts of terror, especially acts in which they will knowingly die.
Suicide is an act of someone who thinks they have nothing to live for. That does not fit these individuals.
Yet even as the evidence stares them in the face the media will not wander from the mandated first assumption of guilt-without-proof. Even as Bliar refuses any probe into the attacks which deviates from this narrative, and bases its findings in an unbiased manner upon the evidence alone.
Meanwhile, I call your attention to the mention of Israeli security company ICTS further down. ICTS, it should be remembered, handled security at all the airports from which the 9-11 planes departed.

There was an interesting rumor going around London just before the attacks, that someone was trying to hire Muslims to play terrorists for a terror drill, to try to sneak onto the trains and buses with fake bombs to test out the security.
We know the terror drill was real. We know they were running the drill at the exact same stations the bombings actually occurred.
We know that the accused bombers don't fit the profile of men ready to die for Allah. Indeed it is reported that some of them were not particularly religious.
And we are faced with the strange claim that these men, one of whom had a new family, carried bombs set on timers yet stood there waiting for the bombs to explode.
This makes sense ONLY if they thought they were carrying fake bombs as part of a terror drill. This also explains the nervousness of the man on the bus who had probably just heard of the real explosions and was starting to suspect that the fake bomb he was carrying might not be fake after all.
"Hey you, Muslim person. Wanna make a hundred pounds? You could use that kind of dough, with a new kid and all. We're running a terror drill, and all you gotta do is take this here harmless backpack with a fake bomb inside to work with you tomorrow, just to see if the subway guards catch you or not. Mum's the word, this is national security and all; you can't tell anyone!"

What a strange story. Of course you can find a link if you try hard enough. What baffles is that the detectives don't say that they can find those responsible, according to the evidence, but that they will "find a link", as Bliar has refused any probe into the attacks which deviates from this narrative.

I'm not "wild-eyed" at all, and the tale about Netanyahu Israel is attempting to push is contradicted by the timeline of events.

As with the alleged 9/11 "suicide hijackers" the families and friends of these young men are stunned and incredulous. There is nothing about these youths that fits with the "suicide bomber" profile. Security services could interpret the choice of innocents as clever planning by the masterminds who selected "ordinary young men...below the intelligence radar".
Much is made of the CCTV video tape of the four carrying large rucksacks before they were said to have boarded their respective trains. The tapes show them chatting and acting as though they were going on a hiking holiday. Was this just part of their ploy to move below the radar? Is it easy to appear nonchalant as you are about to blow yourselves and others to smithereens?
It is significant that this was a "suicide bombing" while the Madrid bombing was not (Even though the explosives in question were triggered by timing devices). Even so, the London Times reported that the alleged Madrid conspirators (who were all Government Informants) had met in a similar fashion before placing their bombs; after their bombs were placed they apparently got off the trains. Why? Why not a suicide mission? Or alternately, why couldn't these London lads place the charges and de-board?
The "suicide bomber" scenario works well to tell us who the bombers were. We all should know by now that only Muslims practice the suicide version of terrorism. To posit suicide in London obviates the need to investigate others. Remember the confusion in Madrid because Basque separatists were early suspects? If the bombers had blown themselves up on the trains no one would have suspected Basques; only Muslims commit suicide.
Why was Madrid handled differently? The simple answer is that the ubiquitous video cameras could not have picked up non-existent bombers, just like the video cameras at Logan, Newark and Dulles could not pick up non-existent hijackers.
The explosives in Madrid were not placed by passengers. The true perpetrators of these crimes learned from the Madrid experience and went back to their "suicide bomber" formula. This time they made sure to get "suicide bombers" (Arab victims) on camera, rucksacks and all. This alteration allows them to keep the advantage of the public preparation to identify only Muslims as suicide bombers. There will not be any uncomfortable questions about how explosives were placed or detonated.
The "Muslim suicide bomber" formula stops inquiry, stops thought, takes precedence in the public imagination over all objections. In the past four years the hundreds of inconsistencies and contrary pieces of evidence about 9/11 have not been able to remove the picture people have in their minds of Muslim hijackers flying planes into the WTC and the Pentagon.
The video of these four young men in London with their rucksacks will serve to end the public's interest in the questions of how, who, and why. No doubt the fact that a complete lack of video evidence, damning the 911 Official Theory, was noted by the perpetrators of this False Flag Attack.
But the skeptic might ask some questions here. Why did these "suicide bombers" seem so ordinary, so nonchalant before these awful deeds? Could it be that they were recruited as "extras" in the disaster exercises, and that their only purpose was to be seen in the video, meeting, and carrying their heavy rucksacks? And wouldn't their subsequent disappearance verify that what they carried in their sacks were those explosives that blew the trains, the bus and themselves to kingdom come?
ICTS Europe is an Israeli security company based in the Netherlands, a subsidiary of which is Huntleigh. Huntleigh was the security contractor at Logan Airport on 9/11 that failed to provide us with CCTV evidence of hijackers. The London Underground is one of Fortress GB's clients and according to their press release they provide smart card technology (personal details and biometric information) for contractors that operate in Tube stations. It makes me wonder if Peter Power's Visor Consultants were identified by these smart cards and if the four young men from Leeds were ever issued such ID.
Police suspect bombers tricked
BRITISH police are considering the possibility that the four key suspects in the July 7 London attacks might have been tricked into setting off their bombs, a British newspaper has reported.
"We do not have hard evidence that the men were suicide bombers," a Scotland Yard spokesman told The Sunday Telegraph. "It is possible that they did not intend to die."
According to the paper, one police hypothesis is that the bombers were tricked by a "master" who told them they would have time to escape – when in fact the devices were set to go off immediately.
The other hypothosis is that these men were hired to play the role of terrorists for the terror drill that was happening at the very same time and place the bombings happened, and didn't realize that the fake bombs they were given were real.
"Hey you, Muslim person. Wanna make a hundred pounds? You could use that kind of dough, with a new kid and all. Mossad Chief Confirms Netanyahu's Warning of London Bombing
The controversy continues over an Associated Press story detailing the remarks of a “senior Israeli official” who claimed that Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in London for an economic conference, was warned by Scotland Yard “minutes” in advance of the terrorist bombings. According to the original story, Netanyahu’s prior knowledge was the cause of his not showing up at the conference, which took place at a hotel near the Liverpool Underground station. A subsequent AP report contained the Israeli’s government’s denial of a prior warning, and claimed that Netanyahu received a warning after the blasts.
Although the first AP story was never retracted, that didn’t prevent Israel’s American amen corner from claiming that it had been withdrawn, nor did it stop Stratfor.com from coming out with an analysis claiming that Israel knew "days" in advance, and that it wasn’t Scotland Yard that informed Netanyahu. Former intelligence analyst Tommy Preston, of Preston Global, concurred.
My own column drawing on these sources drew fire, not only from the usual suspects, but also from dailykos.com, the Democratic party website spawned by the Dean campaign. “Antiwar.com is not a legitimate source,” declared one poster.
This from a website that headlined “Did BushCo Tip Off London Bombers?”!
An author who goes by the name "DHinMI" manufactured a quote, purportedly from me, that was nothing more than a crude fabrication: it had quote marks around it, as if I had written it, when in reality I had written no such thing. DhinMI’s point: that to even suggest that Netanyahu had advance notice of the London bombings is so obviously an “anti-Semitic conspiracy theory” that no discussion is required, regardless of what the Associated Press reports.
The Kossacks, as they call themselves, are trying to clean their act up so that they can be more closely associated with the Democratic party apparatus. However, why limit themselves to condemning my column: why not condemn AP as an “illegitimate source” for publishing the news of Netanyahu’s foreknowledge to begin with? And while they’re at it, they need to add a few more media source to the list, including some of the Israeli media. Israel Insider cites Mossad chief Meir Dagan, in an interview with the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag:
“The Mossad office in London received advance notice about the attacks, but only six minutes before the first blast, the paper reports, confirming an earlier AP report. As a result, it was impossible to take any action to prevent the blasts.”

This is also true of the so-called "chemist" arrested in Egypt. I guess the UK Government forgot that it was military explosives that were used in the bombings ...
The Mossad has a long history of stealing foreign passports to use during intelligence operations. Just last year, the Canadian Government had to remind them of their promise to stop doing this with Canadian papers, and New Zealand arrested three Mossad agents, attempting to obtain NZ passports.

If you want to discuss conspiracy theories, here's a good one for you: The conspiracy theorists are really CIA and/or MI5 (or 6; don't know your numbering system as I live in the US) agents who chime in any time the left starts getting onto an issue of substance and relevance in such a way that it could result in problems for US/UK policy in the Middle East.

There are a lot of evidence details that the big "news-outlets", for some reason, have decided is not in the public interest.
One such detail is this from "the Cambridge Evening News on July 11th.......BEFORE the suicide bombers and the suicide bomb scenario were/was revealed to the public":

"The policeman said 'Mind that hole,that is where the bomb was'. The metal was pushed UPWARDS AS IF THE BOMB WAS UNDERNEATH THE TRAIN. They(police) seem to think that the bomb was left in a bag, but I don't remember anybody being where the bomb was, or any bag."
Now earlier on in the article he does say
"I remember an Asian guy, there was a white guy with tracksuit trousers and a baseball cap, and there were 2 old ladies sitting opposite me."
"We had been on there for a minute at most and then something happened. It was like a huge electricity surge which knocked us out and burst our eardrums. I can still hear that sound now."
"We were in right in the carriage where the bomb was. I was knocked out. I did not know what was going on."
At the end of the article he says:
"Out of that whole carriage, I think Crystal and I were the only ones who were not seriously injured, and I think we were NEAREST the bomb."
Nothing to see here folks.....now move along."

..indicates that the people they saw "injured" were the volunteer "actors" in the Visor exercise, with make-up playing wounded in the exercise scenario (which for some reason were the same as the "real(?)" "event".

Is that right? From personal experience I can say that I have been in a number of court rooms, where "evidence" in the form of reams of posts from IMC UK has been produced by the CPS.
I am also aware of several police investigations where the files were stuffed to the brim with print outs of IMC UK threads.
Of course, I don't claim to have the same level of intimate knowledge of how M15 operates as you do.

The point about IMC is this, it IS used by the law enforcement 'authorities', and it would be naive to go around thinking that M15 weren't watching it. Unless of course you can tell us in your professional capacity that they definitely aren't.

The message may or may not be genuine, I don't know. It has plausibility because it mentions the points of the compass and it is true that the bombers seemed to be drawing a cross through London, starting at King's cross.
However, there is still no evidence that the message is genuine.
What concerns me is that the message is being dismissed on the basis of a supposed "error" in a verse.
In fact the error turns out to be a missing "O" at the start of the verse. This could well be a typo, for one thing. Secondly, since "al-qaeda" these days describes an ideological stance rather than an organisation, why expect 100% theological accuracy? Thirdly, a few simple web searches reveal that the verse concerned is often cited in truncated form, including in ayatollah khomeini's last will and testament.
So, you know, not exactly conclusive stuff.

I remember early coverage of the bombings was unclear as to where the bombs were placed. It took a while for the suicide bomber theory to develop, which is compatible with a investigation unearthing evidence.
I think I remember, but can't be sure, reading some accounts which said that it was initially thought bombs could have been placed on the underground lines. I doubt a policemen helping people out of a bombed train would have much clue at that stage about what had happened.
But again, that's compatible with inadequate knowledge early on.
Eyewitness accounts are notorious for inaccuracy, remember that. People simply do not remember basic details even about events which happened in front of their eyes. Bear that in mind too.
Would a bomb in a carriage necessarily mean a hole gaping outwards? I'm not a ballistics expert, but it seems possible that since the force of a blast has to go somewhere, and there's a floor below, you could get a double effect whereby the force creates an inward gaping effect.
Or maybe it's just a twisted wreck, easily confused for an inward hole by terrified eye witnesses.

The Lait's story was widely reported in the media before 11th July, but only the Cambridge Evening News reports their statement that they saw no person, no bag, and thought the carriage floor was blown inwards. But they may have been led to that by the policeman's comment, and they won't necessarily have been observing the position of everything in the carriage.
The police were saying they had no evidence that the attacks were suicide bombings for several days, though the theory is present in the media up to that time and there is a quote from an eyewitness who said he saw a suicide bomber.
By the 12th, it was being reported that forensics thought at least one of the bombings was a suicide attack.
By the 13th, the media is reporting that four men had blown themselves up.
This doesn't seem an implausible train of events, given an ongoing investigation.
