How to avoid big brother

We live in dangerous times... the world at war, a clash of civilisations er are told, the work of an evil ideology, axils of evil against, hating our freedom and seeking to undermine our values....

Ok, but enough about capitalism, lets get to the point.

The state, aka the powers that B, the establishment, or Big brother, are aparently hunting down some nasty terrorist types who interupted their elitist self-congratulatory party up in Scotland earlier in the month.

Now, having already identified those that who travelled from Leeds and carelessly blew themselves up while stuck on public transport in London during the rush hour, the hunt is on for the 'mastermind' behind the attacks.

Big Brother is focusing on mobile phone records from the months before the attacks. The records apparently reveal one mobile phone number links one of the July 7 suspects to a foiled 'terror' plot last year - an alleged conspiracy to detonate a fertilizer bomb in London.

Papers report that Pakistani intelligence officials are working through some 100 telephone numbers provided by their British counterparts, checking for possible links with the suicide bombers.

Twenty of those numbers, which included both land-lines and cell phones, were still under investigation. The UK authorities also provided names of several people in Pakistan who allegedly received calls from the suicide bombers over the past year.

What does this mean?

Well, if you fancy carrying out a bomb attack against the establishment or perhaps an assination or perhaps even a non-violent direct action against the war machine, you should ditch those mobiles pronto.

Okay, easier said than done but seriiously, phones are cheap, buy them, pass them on. Don't hold on to those phones and build up a meaningful history. Pass them on. Swap them with strangers. Make random calls to people who have nothing to do with anything. Add noise to those records.

When ever possible while plaing something naughty, speak face to face with people rather than on the phone. Don't leave a computer record. Don't buy tickets (or chemicals) with plastic. Don't use oyster cards. Don't drive in a private vehicle so they can monitor the registration plate via CCTV.

Whether you are a potential bomber, mass murderer, eco saboteur or whatever - avoid Big Brother's radar!

Don't leave a meaningful computer record!
