"INDYMEDIA" is a lot less indy than it likes to pretend to be

Each time I file an article, the faceless, unaccountable Thought Police editing this board pull it.
Ive tried emailing them asking for an explanation, and invited them to tell me which one of the guidelines I'm supposed to have breached -
No reply
The only possible one I can see is that of (accidental) duplication.
Even if that were the case, there should remain at least ONE of the posts, dontcha think???
Be warned.
This allegedly 'free speech' platform, is a lot less free than you might think.

However in Indy's defence (and I'm only a observer/contributor over G8 in Edinburgh), I suspect running multiple Indy centres in Glasgow, Stirling, and Edinbutgh perhaps posed a bit of a technical nightmare for the volunteer teams involved and that the end of the day I accept there may have been technical issues with postings and server mirrors (your posting might appear on one server but not on another) - please correct me if i'm wrong....
In saying this I cannot condone the removal of 'comments' which fall within editorial bounds - with regards to the 'total enjoyment' and Wed - the start of summit - as a citizen of Edinburgh I thought my experiences of the supposed 'Rose-St-Riot' would be of interest - being backed by photos - like wise the Wednesday 'mess' of demos here - and having been on many anti-poll-tax and involved in organising 'we-want-our-parliament' type demos - my opinion was of general disgust at the policing policy applied on both encounters but for different reasons..
So I can't see why given such a perspective such reports were deleted - uhrm - maybee it was my shirt and tie - but don't let it fool you . . . Slick dressed man gets places with cameras that clowns don't . . . and I get out again (sometimes).
Preserve the INDY of Indymedia - tell us what happened and please explain these purported posting anomolies - or should we all go back to mainstream blogs . . .
G8 Radicalised many in Edinburgh who saw a new face to law enforcemnet - it makes no sense to censor that input - English Law is different to Scots Law and we have a wand up our sleeve called popular sovereignty (our right to despsose any leader and replace them with whoever we see fit) - Lest our fellow Scots forget that...
Sorry for the peolpe of London and for the G8 'result' . . .
Hmmm I have friends in Finland . . . . that's close to St. Petersburg

The person who refers to conspiricayforsale.com all the time calls IM dubious.
again: hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
and once more: hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
There isn't a free speech issue here. If I came on and repeatedly posted about NAzi Elvis clones in league with satan trying poison our children with agent orange. I'd be "persecuted". Because it's irrelevant paranoid drivel... and arguable offensive.
Note that IM can easily ban you IP block, but instead they merely "hide" your post.
