local opposition walking to North Gate
Police wearing storm masks against the midges
Banners and protesters of all ages
Food for donations at the stalls to cater for the blockaders
But not the night before when the police piled up at the entrance of the Faslane Peace Camp.
After they found out there weren't thousands of protesters staying at the camp, but about 50, they soon left.
Manyof the hundreds of people just came with buses in the morning at about 8 am, sat on the street waiting to be carried away, which never happenend and left then with their buses at about 4 pm.
However, what a nice hippy-esque atmosphere!
Faslane Peace Camp cooked incredibly good food and disappeared and enabled a small Indymedia Centre to go ahead in one of the caravans.
Several sound systems were there, too, including many participants of the bicycle caravan.
