conjecture - but troubling conjecture nonetheless

Of all the things featured on this linked article, the single most worrying (because it's clealry true) is the fact that an excercise was going on while the bombing was taking place. What in God's name is going on here. I got panned last thursday by a friend for saying that I wouldn't put it past the governnment to 'allow' the bombing to happen if they had gotten wind of it. Stupidly, I found myself doubting my own suspicious tendencies.
Note to self - never doubt own suspicious tendencies. Damn, I hate being right sometimes.
