Whether a "stimulating actions" US P2OG type initiated atrocity (to maintain UK troops in Iraq) or not, the effect among an the better educated (than US) population will be to increase demand for withdrawal of UK troops now, as happened in Spain.

There are so many deviant US, freelance " contractor " types around (including Cheney/Halliburton) and minor versions of the same from the nutter who set up his own prison and torture establishment in Kabul to Big Dick himself...
It is quite understandable that the UK people do not realize the ultimate meaning of US "free enterprise" when the chips are down.

Insitial intelligence reports were based on garbled and innacurate information. The Kennedy Administration choose to run with it to push through their existing plans. That which you are implying is that the some shadowy organization deliberately engineered the London bombs.

I have also spent some time working in fields which bring me into contact with the security forces.
Sometimes, over a few beers, one of these things comes up and it gets laughed down straight away.
A couple of days ago I was discussing the London bombs with a colleague from "the office" and two "friends".
For the first time I can remember the story was not laughed down, both of the "friends" said that they believed the bombings were being conducted by independant cells who were acting under the direction of a mole. They also believed that the mole was sanctioned by a special operations unit within the US Embassy under the auspices of the P2OG mandate. The aim being to ferment a less sympathetic climate towards the middle east in the UK.
I was shocked. I've been working with these people a long time and I know that they do some dodgy things, but this is too much.
I had to tell and this is the best place to do it, amid the crack-pot theories about Mossad this message will just dissapear, but, at least I've got it off my chest.
