The Oxford World Development Movement Group is affiliated to national WDM (see www.wdm.org.uk). We have been campaigning on GATS, Trade, Debt for many years and have organized or co-organized many events, such as public meetings during the Cancun WTO meetings in 2003 and more recently on trade rules and the G8 summit, and water privitisation in developing countries. We also hold stalls to raise awareness of issues and policies effecting developing countries. Admittedly, not as exciting as Live8 – but probably more effective …
