Did Karl Rove enable the terrorist attack on London?

Daithí Mac Lochlainn | 08.07.2005 00:52 | London

“Liberals saw what happened to us and said we must understand our enemies." ~ Turdblossom

The fact is that the self-styled “conservatives” have wickedly aided and abetted terrorism and terrorists...

…from the Global News Network:

“Esquire's Ron Suskind reported that, "Sources close to the former president Bus say Rove was fired from the 1992 Bush presidential campaign after he planted a negative story with columnist Robert Novak about dissatisfaction with campaign fundraising chief and Bush loyalist Robert Mosbacher Jr. It was smoked out, and he was summarily ousted.’"

Again, we see a pattern for leaking information for short-term political expediency. The Mosbacher leak was internal to the Republican Party. However, the more current leaks of Valerie Plame and Muhammad Naeem Noor Khan names to the press are much more serious as they involve grave matters of national and international security.

Shortly after the Baboon Palace leaked the Khan’s name, leading Middle East expert Professor Juan Cole wrote the following:

"The appearance of Khan's name in the New York Times on Aug. 2 caused the British to have to swoop down on the London al-Qaeda cell to which he was speaking. As it was, five of them heard about Khan's arrest and immediately fled. The British got 13, but it was early in their investigation and they had to let five go or charge them with minor offenses (such as immigration irregularities). On Tuesday, the British charged eight of them.

When the British made their arrest, the Bush administration announced that among those captured was Abu Eisa al-Hindi, also known as Abu Musa al-Hindi (both are noms de guerre).

The British, especially MI5 and Home Secretary David Blunkett, had not wanted his name made public, and were furious at all of the detailed information being given out to the public by the Bush administration or in consequence of its revelations."

Yesterday, we in New York woke up to hear of the atrocities perpetrated in our Sister City. According to news reports, responsibility was claimed by an entity calling itself the “Secret Organisation Group of al-Qaida of Jihad Organisation in Europe”.

Did any member of this group have any direct or indirect dealings with those who communicated with Muhammad Naeem Noor Khan?

Would any person or plot in connection with the attack on London been self-exposed if it hadn’t been for the leak?

Could the intelligence operation involving Mr. Khan have averted yesterday’s horror if it had been allowed to continue?

What future nightmares have the Bush Administration enabled by this act of high treason?

Please click here and sign the petition to have the Khan leak fully investigated.

what did the Mayor say?

08.07.2005 05:50

While watching BBC reports last night I thought I heard the Mayor of London say:
"...as I said yesturdy to [missed that] Britains will stay united...."
then the Mayor speech was cut short to go to [something obviosely more important].

With out getting weird about it, does anyone have a full transcript of what the |Mayor said?

Why would he have "said yesturdy" ie: before any bombs?

Why did the BBC cut his speech short?

The Bill

Well yes Mr/Ms Turdy, if your listening skills are on a par with your spelling, we can safely assume that you're talking utter bollocks.

"Why would he have "said yesturdy" ie: before any bombs?"

Probably because he is in Singapore, several hours ahead of London. . . in the afternoon in London, it is the early hours of the morning of the next day in Singapore
