stay strong in opposing g8 in spite of bombs

Message of solidarity and request to g8 protesters!
I just want to send my deepest support and solidarity for the actions that you are all taking against the g8.
I am also writing to request that you do not stray from your stance and actions against the g8 in light of the bombs in London.
We do not know (and history shows that we will probably never know) exactly what has happened in London. We don’t know who coordinated the attacks or why. And whilst these explosions have certainly wounded, unsettled and deeply hurt many many people, they should not deter you from your critique on the g8 nor the agendas at play at the Gleneagles meeting.
It is all too easy to get caught up in the drama of these events. My concern may seem patronizing, but I remember when the protests planned against the WEF in Washington after September 11th in New York were cancelled out of “respect” for those who were affected by the attacks.
I just want to argue that you should stand strong and continue your campaign against the g8 for it is the same struggle against “terror” and the rule of violence the world over.
Go hard!
