UAF to Collapse?

With Searchlight being surely only the first to leave UAF, can we assume that the UAF is now finished?

Does this stop BNP votes?
Does this stop BNP votes?

For a long time I have had severe doubts about the usefulness of the UAF in combatting the BNP.

It has seemed detatached from the very people is wants to stop voting for the BNP: Whites!

Why oh why then, has this SWP led group done everything within its grasp to alienate white and potential BNP voters?

Searchlight's decision to leave the UAF and it's frank editorial as to why it has done so, must be another nail not just in the UAF, but also the ailling SWP, for which the UAF is another union-funded front.

The sort of crazy stunts the UAF have pulled have been nothing more than another attempt to recruit ethnic members and act as another nail in the antifascist coffin.

Although I have no time for Searchlight, comparibly, a cross section of Labour voters united against the BNP as opposed to the tenage rap-scum the UAF produce is surely a better way forward.

BNP voters feel alienated, the UAF have done nothing to combat that.

Well done Searchlight, for what it's worth, and let's hope the rest of the lbour movement follow suit.
