A section of the MPH march was made up of protestors against the Mugabe regieme of Zimbabwe, a Glaswegian female drummer group called She-boom provided a beautiful rythm drawing more and more people in behind their Mugabe = Poverty banner. In front, Brian, from Zimbabwe, was dressed to impress. He carried a stick associated with wise rule, leopard print robes and cool sunglasses. He suggested "If debt is to be got rid of, then people who cause poverty should also be removed"

He also hoped that the drummers and carnival atmosphere would gather media attention for his cause.

It seemed to be working....
