Let's hope these clowns ain't just clowning around with make up and have some serious tricks up their sleeves. We're watching!

Bang on D.I.R.T.

Britain expects... squirty flowers, little cars with oval wheels, guns that shoot a scroll of paper that says "Bang"...

The clowns look ace...

circa 2005 bc (bullshit comrades)

typical, although i see through the issues with blacking up for this demo, it doesn't surprise me that circa were of no help to the black block other than giving them something even more embarrassing to look at, has it come to this, shake your fucking selves, its an embarassment to struggle

yeah right

Ok Jordan, so its not embarrasing to see 30-40 hoodied black blockers spending a saturday afternoon overturning a few dustbins and spending the rest ofthe day sat between some buses.

The clowns roamed freely, and are more likely to get across a message to anyone looking than them!

Those clowns know their shit

I had a chat with some of those clowns a couple of days before the demo. They are not just poncing around for the sake of it; they are very bright, highly motivated individuals who have a cause and a unique way of bringing people's attention to that cause.

On the day they were great - bringing a lot of smiles to peoples faces, and a lot of energy to the demonstration. This is a cause backed by many different kinds of people (as it should be) don't diss them because they aren't protesting they way that you would. The main thing is to raise people's awareness of the issues and they succeeded in that admirably.

Well done Clown Army - I thought you did a great job!

Clowns more effective than Black Bloc

11.07.2005 13:34

The Black Bloc are posturing as revolutionaries. If you think wearing a balaclava and throwing stones and bottles is effective then you really are a clown. Change will not come from some purist macho elite but by everyday normal people changing their everyday normal lives. Let hope the clowns don't degenerate into papwer-selling zombies towing some party line.
