Dissent begins! Around 9:45pm Friday the Dissent Train from London arrived in Edinburgh. Welcomed by friends and 40 coppers the Londoners came and went to begin their protests against the G8.

Around 9:45pm Friday the Dissent Train from London arrived in Edinburgh. There were around 40 police men present, some of whom filmed the people getting off the train. The police claimed they were helping people to find accomodation, but were in fact trying to direct them into busses to take them to the campsite. In the end they just watched people leave the station and congregate outside on Princess street, where they discussed their accomodation option. People split up quickly to beat the policve and many went to the Jack Kane centre provided by the city council. People said they have been filmed all day.
