Diabolical antics from Diageo - tactical drinking...

Tactical drinking...

The G8 conference is paid for from public funds, which will go into Diageo's private profits - as the owners of Gleneagles Hotel. Among other brands Diageo owns Guiness, Harp, Kilkenny and Red Stripe, Captain Morgan Rum, Gordon's Gin, Smirnoff, Bells, J & B, and Johnny Walker Whisky, Baileys, and Le Piat d'Or. It also encourages underage drinking by the sale of alcopops including Smirnoff Ice, Black Ice and Mule, Archers Aqua, J & B Twist and Johnnie Walker One. We ask all those who want to protest against the G8 stitch-up to withdraw their financial support from Diageo by not buying any of these drinks at least for the duration of the G8. This is not a token gesture, but an action of solidarity with our own beliefs.
