Congo Demo outside Downing Street

Demo has just finish around 5 o'clock after Congo protestors were surrounded by Police Police/Vans for five hours.

I am uncertain of what the protest is about due to a new Police Tactics be used. I am helpfully told by the Police that it is "Against the Law to Watch a Protest".

That's right.

"Against the Law to Watch a Protest".

I sorry, I cannot tell you any more about it other than hearsay and by what my eyes tells me.

My eyes told me that it was a noisy demo and blocked one half of the street. The hearsay was that a JCB/folklife truck was used to try to break down the Gates in Downing Street. No shots were fired.

Any more news on this demo would be helpful.

It would explain the police sreaches outside Gower Street.
