Guantanamo Bay Resort

Starbucks opened a coffee shop in Cuba

I have just read that Starbucks opened, in March 2005, a coffee shop near the American site at Guantanamo Bay, of course for the American personnel stationed there, not for the benefit of the prisoners.
There was a joke in the US, where I lived for a few years (I know, I know, what was I thinking?), that Starbucks had opened a Starbucks in a Starbucks restroom, but this is not even funny anymore. Not happy with destroying the coffee market all over the world, with condoning child labor with their sickening posters of little girls happily working in coffee fields (hanging, where else, in the restrooms), and of making the worst tasting espresso in history (and this is a native Italian talking), now they are actually condoning torture, forced disappeareances and the rubbishing of the rule of law; all in the name of mochaccinos, which is a crime against the English language, by the way.
