From the 22nd till the 25th of August in Bulgaria and from the 25th till the 28th of August in Greece, No Border Actions will take place with the following slogans:
- Solidarity with refugees and migrants
- Against borders and mine fields
- Against detention centres for migrants
We invite all anti-authoritarian, anti-racist, anti-capitalist groups and individuals to take part in the discussions and actions that will take place on both sides of the borders.
The exact location that the No Border Camp will take place in Bulgaria will be publicised later. It will be close to the Greek border. In Greece it will be in the Polytechnic School in Xanthi, which will function as accomodation centre and also as a convergence space for discussions and events.
The schedule for the 4 days of action will be:
-Actions on both sides of the Greek-Bulgarian border
-Demo in Xanthi and Komotini
-Action in the detention centre located close to the city
The topics of the discussions decided will be:
- Borders and Globalisation
- The internal Greek borders and the muslim minority in Thrace
- The migration policy of the Greek State and the situation in Europe
- Briefing by the comrades abroad about the migrant detention centres in their countries
- Briefing about the european camp of neo-nazi organisations, which will take place in September in Greece.
