The information point for those attending the G8 alternative events of the first week in July in Edinburgh is now open. It is situated in Albert Place (opposite Shrub Hill) near the top of Leith Walk and will be open 24/7 over the next week or so.

Next Saturday 2nd July sees the `Make Poverty History` demonstration while Sunday 3rd has the G8 Alternatives Summit from 10am to 9pm.
Monday 4th July has the big blockade of Faslane nuclear base (30 miles West of Glasgow).
Tuesday 5th July sees the demo at Dungavel Detention Centre.
Wednesday 6th July is the big one – THE demonstration at Gleneagles against the fat cats and their neo liberal policies which have brought so much joy to so many in the world. It is there and then that the message of `Another World is possible` will be shouted loud and clear across the golf course to the `masters of the universe` inside.
