Mehmet Tarhan, who has made a press statement with the help of his lawyer Suna Coşkun, said that he has chosen to end his hunger strike after the prison management has chosen to accept his terms. After his evacuation at 9th of June, Mehmet Tarhan was sent to military unit and later on was brought to prison at Sivas Military Prison. Another demand of Tarhan from the prison is accepted by the prison management and two medical doctors came to visit him from Sivas Medicine Association too.
After some examines, it is learnt that Tarhan’s health condition is all fine and his treatment has begun. Mehmet Tarhan will be judged once again because of “rejecting the orders of doing his military service” at his trial on 12th of July, Tuesday.
