The lovely lovely people from Liverpool Social Forum have organised an activist training day in preparation for the G8 protests in Scotland. Everyone is welcome to share and learn The Crown (the pub) upstairs, Liverpool City Centre, Wednesday 22nd June from 6.30PM (don’t worry if you are forced to turn up late).

We have a member of Dissent coming up, legal experts, environmental gurus and lots of excited angry people from across Liverpool. The idea is that we all know what do to and how to do it when we get up to Scotland.

The evening of training will include:

A legal brief (Scottish law is different)
Non Violent Direct Action Training
A police talk (about them not by them)
A medical brief (Do’s and Don’ts)
Affiliation groupings
A talk on asylum seekers and the protest on the Tuesday
A briefing on the best way to make the least environmental impact when protesting

The evening will last until around 11PM. To make it to everything is best but come to what you can. It will be RELAXED and INFORMAL and FREE and there will be REFRESHMENTS.

We look forward to seeing you there….
